The Committee and Running of the Club
Every year the committee is elected at the club’s Annual General Meeting which takes place in April/May to attend to the affairs of the club for the next season on behalf of its members. We do have a constitution which is either available from the club Secretary or via the website – see below.

The committee holds monthly meetings which are usually held during the second week of every month. All members of the committee are available for consultation at any time regarding club matters. Therefore if there’s an issue that you think needs raising you should ask for it to be put onto the agenda for the next committee meeting.

Club Communication
Following each committee meeting we endeavour to issue a monthly newsletter reporting on forthcoming events for that month including reports, up to date fixtures and details of any future social events. Preferably these are sent out via email – this is why we do need an email address for our members if possible. It is usually also available on our news page on this website: - another source of information about the club.

Fundraising
This is an extremely important part of our club as it generates much of the money needed to run a club such as ours. We aim to organise one social event every month during the season and we do rely heavily on our membership supporting these, together with friends and family to boost the numbers. Over the years we have created a few regular events which have proved firm favourites amongst our members.

We always organise a Xmas dinner and our main evening is our Awards Presentation Night where team captains select their players of the year and give their end of season speeches.

Thank You To All Our Sponsors
The Kings Arms, Stoborough continues to supply us with refreshments after all our home matches, enabling us to take our visiting teams to a friendly and welcoming venue. Harry’s Sports Bar provides us with teas for our occasional Sunday matches. Without this support the club would undoubtedly be poorer in all respects.

Much needed dugouts were kindly provided for the club by Simon & Liz Goldsack from Holme for Gardens, together with a very generous donation from the Swanage Carnival.

Why not join us and share in our success?
