Ladies 2nds maintain their mid table position with a great home win.

Swanage & Wareham (II) 2 - 0 Poole (II)

After a beginning of the season loss away to Poole, Swans were determined to avenge this. The game was heavily fought with a complete stalemate in the first half.
The second half brought a bit more spark from the home side and finally Swans manage to convert a short corner with a great slip from Pam Laidman to Liz Goldsack who put the ball into the corner.
The game carried on in much of the same vein. Poole didn't take advantage of their short corners and Swans continued to press. The home side finally took advantage of a breakaway with Phoebe Lumley getting on the end of a very well taken goal to make it 2-0.

Youngster, Alicia Whincop, was voted "Player of the Match" which was very well deserved. Captain Yaz Unworth said after the game "I'm delighted with our performance today, we held strong in defence and managed to take advantage of our goal scoring opportunities. We remain mid table in Forest Division 2".
