Huge congratulations to Alexis Barras who was selected for the girls under 15s Dorset Hockey squad at the end of September. Just 14 years old, Alexis plays for our ladies 2nd team and has done so for the last two seasons.

She started playing hockey at the age of 10 for Old Kingstonians in London and very quickly decided that being goalkeeper was her chosen position. Alexis and her family now live near Dorchester and she attends a local school close by.

A spokesperson from the club commented "We are very proud of Alexis making the squad for Dorset which she thoroughly deserves. Since joining the club only two years ago, she has shown commitment, enthusiasm and a maturity beyond her years. It's so rewarding to see all this hard work paying off. Well done Alexis".
