Despite the challenging conditions Swans took an early lead through Pam Laidman which they held until half time. Romsey pressed hard in the second half, with Swans defence repelling countless attacks.

Young keeper, Alexis Barras, made some fantastic saves, earning her Player of the Match. Eventually however Romsey scored their equaliser 10 minutes into the second half. With a few injuries to the Swanage side, the team found it hard to hold onto the draw, conceding just 8 minutes from the end of the match. It was a well fought match which the whole team should be proud of.
